Code of Conduct

BE EXCELLENT WITH EACH OTHER

This Code of Conduct applies to all our events and to all participants (attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, etc.) of our events. By participating in our events, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct and to cooperate with event organizers in maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment. We expect full cooperation from all participants to help to ensure such an environment for everyone.

THE QUICK VERSION

Our events provide a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion (or lack thereof), colour, national origin or genetic information. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate for any event venue, including talks, workshops, parties, and social media. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event without a refund at the discretion of the event organisers.

THE LESS QUICK VERSION

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, colour, national origin, genetic information, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing/ unwanted photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately.

Sponsors and any partners are also subject to the anti-harassment policy. In particular, sponsors should not use sexualised images, activities, or other material. Booth staff (including volunteers) should not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise create a sexualised environment.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund. The decisions of the event organizers are final and non-negotiable..

Reporting Harassment: If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please report it to a member of the event staff immediately. You can also reach out to the organisers at hello@crafthub.events. Reports will be handled confidentially, and appropriate actions will be taken as soon as possible to address the issue.

Enforcement: We expect all participants to comply with this Code of Conduct at all CraftHub events, both online and offline. Failure to comply may result in expulsion from the event and exclusion from future events, at the discretion of the organisers.
