This talk will explore how AI's predictive capabilities are transforming healthcare, shifting the focus from treatment to early detection and prevention. I will discuss how AI, particularly in computer imaging, can provide decision support that goes beyond the abilities of the clinical eye. The talk will highlight opportunities for AI in healthcare and showcase examples from our lab’s work in mental health, cardiology, and infectious diseases, demonstrating how these technologies are already making an impact in real-world applications.
